I'm getting e-meow-tional just thinking about my very own kitten growing up– her name was Pookie and she terrorized the entire house, running the place with an iron paw and demanding her tantalizing Total Temptation Treats every morning promptly at 4am. Every cat owner has a story like me, where their cat's less-than-favorable behavior became the most endearing thing about them. Not only do cat lovers relate to other cat lovers, but some hoomans find solace in relating to the cats as well. That's why we love looking at memes, funnies, comics, and cajoling jokes about our favorite felines– because it reminds us of our very own childhood cat, like Pookie, who got fur all over my clothes, woke me up at night, and stole a special spot in my heart forever.
